Join us on Saturday, June 20, for the Pollinator Palooza at Franklin Park Conservatory during National Pollinator Week at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Company Community Garden Campus.

Meet our founder, learn about native bees and how you can help them recover, discover local pollinator organizations, and enjoy crafts, music, food trucks, and garden tours.

  • Learn about Ohio’s native bees

  • Get tips on how to create a pollinator garden or wildflower patch

  • Learn how to naturalize your lawn with mowable flowers and avoid chemicals

  • Get a 3-ingredient recipe to deter wasps, yellow jackets, and carpenter bees naturally

  • Enjoy coloring a bumble bee or butterfly at our children’s coloring station

  • Take home some native wildflower seeds to plant in a pot or your garden

ATTENDANCE IS FREE

This event is held in the Scotts Miracle-Gro Company Community Garden Campus, southeast of the Conservatory.

Food Demo: Education Pavilion

The Teen Corps has cooked up some tasty treats in the Education Pavilion.

Zebra Swallowtails love to lay their eggs on parsley, dill, carrots, and other garden veggies. Enjoy some fresh veggies and dips made from these garden herbs and learn how you can support butterflies in your backyard.

Children’s Arts & Crafts: Community Garden Campus

Make a pop-up pollinator bookmark, decorate a community art project, and make a pollinator origami.
