Founder, Tracy Teuscher Selected as Who's Who Honoree
Tracy Teuscher
Tracy Teuscher, MS, APR, OCVN, has been selected as a Marquis Who's Who in America® honoree for excellence in public relations and leadership.
Marquis Who's Who® is a 125-year-old company that has chronicled the lives of the most accomplished individuals and innovators from every significant field of endeavor since 1899.
The Save Ohio Bees team would like to congratulate Tracy on this honor and thank her for leveraging her expertise to accomplish our mission. We know that communication and collaboration are vital to the success of any conservation nonprofit.
"As someone who's been involved with Save Ohio Bees since its launch, I've had a front-row seat to the organization's evolution," said Katie Turner, Save Ohio Bees board member. "Just as essential pollinators are vital to sustaining ecosystem health, Tracy has been vital to the organization and its mission.”
For those unfamiliar, Tracy is an accredited public relations pro and the founder and president of The Buzz Maker®, a top PR agency in Ohio.
“Earning a place among the Marquis Who’s Who is a profound honor,” said Tracy Teuscher, Save Ohio Bees founder. “I am deeply humbled by this recognition.”
Communication is essential to our mission, and it is accomplished through a variety of means. Conservation communication requires passion, creativity, and expertise.
“Tracy leverages her expertise to connect with the community, including conservation organizations and beneficiaries,” said Anne Young, MA, Save Ohio Bees board member. “Many environmental nonprofits struggle to interpret scientific findings in a relatable way. Tracy does this well, and it is invaluable.”
Beyond our website, email communications, and social channels, Tracy has produced educational programs on native bees, butterflies, and bats for in-person and virtual learning and created coloring pages and an original "Wild Bees Song" to engage children.
Tracy takes the time to help high school and college students create pollinator habitats on their campuses, consult with educators, and answer questions from Ohioans. She has also tenderly coordinated with a local family following the passing of a loved one to designate memorial donations to Save Ohio Bees.
These accomplishments would not be possible without Tracy’s uncommon passion, experience, and dedication. We are lucky to have her and wish her our most sincere congratulations.
