World Bee Day in the Children's Garden

Join us on Saturday, May 17 at 11:00 AM in the Children’s Garden at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Enjoy a special World Bee Day presentation with certified naturalist and ecotherapist, Tracy Teuscher.

World Bee Day is May 20, and it’s a special day to learn about Ohio’s native bees.

  • Meet some common native bees and discover their superpowers.

  • Learn the reasons that many native bees are at risk and how to help them.

  • Get tips to create a pollinator oasis in your own backyard.

  • Get tips for naturalizing your lawn.

  • Color a bumble bee and sing The Wild Bee Song.

Meet The Presenter

Tracy Teuscher is a certified Naturalist and Ecotherapist with an M.S. in Environmental Studies. She is passionate about helping us restore human-nature connections in beneficial and healing ways. Tracy has been a featured speaker at the Wilderness Center, Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, the Chef’s Garden, Ohio Kiwanis, and the Climate and Justice Teach-in. Tracy is a Who’s Who in America honoree who has been featured by Authority Magazine, Medium, CanvasRebel, and more.
