Pollinator Pupils at Chef's Garden

Join Tracy Teuscher, Dr. Amy Sapola, and Jasmine Skrada for a special Chef’s Garden event at Farmer Jones Farm Market in Huron, Ohio called Pollinator Pupils from 11:00 to 1:00.

This event is for children ages 4 and up. Presentations will be offered at 11:00 and Noon.

Tracy will talk about wild bees, explain how native bees differ from honey bees and wasps, provide 5 easy ways to help them thrive, and engage the children through art and singing.

Dr. Amy Sapola will share the connections between bees and healthy food, soil, and people, and a bit about developing a mindful relationship with food.

Jasmine Skrada will provide an introduction to honey bees.

Dr. Amy is the Director of Farmacy at the Chef’s Garden in collaboration with Farmer Jones Farm. She is a Doctor of Pharmacy, Certified Wellness Coach, Yoga Instructor, Fellow of the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine, and an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner.  

Jasmine Skrada is a former apiary and farm apprentice at Spikenard Honeybee Sanctuary and Biodynamic Farm in Virginia and a graduate of Heidelberg University. She is a Licensed Professional School Counselor and works alongside Dr. Amy at the Chef's Garden.
