Discover Wild Bees & Butterflies

Join us on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 6:30 PM for a special presentation about Ohio’s native bees and butterflies at Sippo Lake Park’s Exploration Gateway. This is a free, family-friendly event.

  • Discover some common native bees and butterflies.

  • Learn about the common threats they face.

  • Get tips to create a pollinator oasis.

  • Learn how to transform your lawn into a living ecosystem.

  • Color a bumble bee and a butterfly to take home.

Schedule

  • 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM - Get comfortable and meet the presenter. Parking is free.

  • 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM - Wild Bees & Butterflies of Ohio presentation by Tracy Teuscher.

Meet the presenter

MEET TRACY TEUSCHER, MS, APR, OCVN

Tracy is a certified Naturalist and Ecotherapist with an M.S. in Environmental Studies. As a conservation educator, she creates dynamic programs that are inspiring and fun. Tracy has been a featured speaker at the Wilderness Center, Franklin Park Conservatory, Chef’s Garden, and the Climate and Justice Teach-in. She has been featured by Authority Magazine, CanvasRebel, Voyage Ohio, and more.
