Nature Fest at the Wilderness Center

Join us on Saturday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m. for a special presentation on wild butterflies and bees of Ohio during Nature Fest at the Wilderness Center in Wilmot.

This FREE family-friendly event in the Buckeye Room will be followed by live music and a number of wonderful displays by local artisans and makers.

  • Meet some of the native bees and butterflies of Ohio.

  • Discover the common threats they face and how to mitigate them.

  • Learn how to create a pollinator oasis using a simple, affordable method.

  • Transform your lawn into a living ecosystem.

  • Discover public resources to create wildlife habitat.

  • Color a bumble bee and a butterfly.

  • Hear inspiring stories.  

PLUS, enter the Save Ohio Bees raffle and take home native wildflower seeds.

MEET THE PRESENTER, TRACY TEUSCHER

Tracy is a certified Naturalist and Ecotherapist with an M.S. in Environmental Studies. She is a conservation educator who creates dynamic programs. Tracy has been a featured speaker at the Wilderness Center, Franklin Park Conservatory, Chef’s Garden, and the Climate and Justice Teach-in. Her work with Save Ohio Bees has been featured by Authority Magazine, CanvasRebel, Voyage Ohio, the Everthing’s Not Black & White Podcast, and more.
